Human Rights Initiatives
The Nagatanien Group Human Rights Policy is established in accordance with the Nagatanien Group Sustainability Policy and serves as the foundation for all business activities of the Group. The Nagatanien Group recognizes that its business activities may directly or indirectly impact human rights at every stage of operations. In order to respect the human rights of all individuals involved in our business activities, we have established the Nagatanien Group Human Rights Policy and will promote initiatives to uphold human rights.
Nagatanien Group Human Rights Policy
1. Basic Approach
As a member of society, we recognize the importance of respecting human rights in all business activities. We comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to human rights and respect internationally recognized norms and fundamental principles, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs).
2. Scope of Application
This Policy applies to all officers and employees of the Nagatanien Group. We also expect all business partners involved in our products and services to understand and support this Policy.
3. Responsibility to Respect Human Rights
We are committed not to infringe upon the human rights of all individuals involved in our business activities. If adverse human rights impacts occur, we will take appropriate measures to remedy such impacts and build a supply chain that fulfills our responsibility to respect human rights.
4. Human Rights Due Diligence
We establish and continuously implement a human rights due diligence framework in order to identify, assess, prevent, and mitigate actual and potential adverse human rights impacts arising from our corporate activities.
5. Disclosure
We will continuously disclose the progress of our human rights initiatives through our website and other appropriate channels.
6. Dialogue and Consultation
In the process of implementing the Policy, we will seek advice from independent external experts and engage in dialogue and consultation with stakeholders.
7. Education and Training
To ensure that this Policy is incorporated into all business activities and effectively implemented, we will provide appropriate education and training to all officers and employees.
8. Accountability
We will clearly designate an officer responsible for the implementation of this Policy and ensure its effectiveness.

In pursuit of becoming a corporate group that offers rewarding workplaces and respects diversity, we identify the following items set forth in the Nagatanien Group Code of Corporate Ethics as key areas of human rights.
● Occupational Health and Safety
We confirm compliance with laws, regulations, and operational rules related to workplace safety and health, and create safe and healthy working environments.
● Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment
We respect individual human rights and diversity, avoid all forms of discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, nationality, language, disability, social origin, or other status, and create fair workplaces.
● Diversity
We strive to cultivate an open and inclusive workplace culture where all individuals with diverse personalities can express their opinions and take initiative while respecting others’ perspectives. Through active communication within the Nagatanien Group, we build cooperative relationships based on unity and mutual respect.
